The BPOS Online Ordering Module (OOM) provides establishments with the ability to take online orders directly through their BPOS point-of-sale system. Customers can place their orders online and transactions are then transmitted directly into BPOS just as if the order were placed by an on-site staff member. BPOS OOM offers the following capabilities:
Browse menus online
Customers can browse multiple menus online. Menus may be restricted by day and time or all menus may be viewed at all times. Customers can also choose to only view certain sections of the menu, such as appetizers or entrees, or view nutritional information of menu items.
Create and place orders
Customers can create, save and place orders with their account. Orders may be placed in advance or for immediate delivery or pickup. The establishment can customize special offers for online orders, such as 10% off a first order, or 10% off and order of $30 or more to be offered as the customer is placing their order online.
Full service website
BPOS OOM has the capability to be used as the establishments primary website. OOM is fully customizable on a client by client basis and can include such things as blogs, customer feedback, mapping to your locations and a wide variety of other web services.
Integration with BPOS
OOM is fully integrated with BPOS. What this means is that there is no redundant item or menu setup, that all customer information is accessed through BPOS back office and that all orders are directly uploaded into BPOS and processed just as if the order was placed by a staff member. Tickets automatically print to the kitchen and orders are entered into the delivery module. This easy integration cuts down on the time required for setup and routine changes.
Marketing tools
OOM offers a variety of marketing tools through the use of BPOS reports. This includes email lists, mailing lists and labels, sales reports by customer or zone and many other reports to help you market to your online customers.
Ordering history
A complete order history is maintained for all customers so that both management and the customer can access this information as needed.
Pay online
Customers pay for their orders online through a variety of methods including credit card, debit card, gift cards or electronic check. BPOS OOM is hosted on a secure site by BTS, so customers don't have to worry about the privacy of their information.
Pick-up or delivery
BPOS OOM processes both delivery and pickup orders just as a staff member does on site. The order is automatically transferred into either the delivery or pickup module.
Repeat last order
Customers can choose to repeat their last order in order to speed up the ordering process. Customers can select their last order and then modify the order or process as is.
Table reservations (coming soon)
Customers will be able to make table reservations online and place orders in advance if they so desire. An email confirmation will be sent back to the customer with all reservation details, as well as a map to the location.
BPOS OOM is fully customizable for different menus and may be used as the establishments primary website, or as a link from an existing website.
